About
Harsimran Kaur Wadhwa
Harsimran Kaur Wadhwa, earned her undergraduate degree in India and her master’s degree in the United States. She is now pursuing her doctorate in clinical psychology and is eager to work with both children and adults who suffer from various mental health problems. She has successfully treated several clients with individual and group therapy.
She’s a National Certified Counselor (NCC) who likes to cook, watch comedy shows, and write short stories. Acceptance, supportive relationships, and the development of optimism are all values she holds. She believes in the healing power of relationships, as well as psychoeducation and the de-stigmatization of mental health issues. Her first step in raising awareness is to normalize diverse mental health conditions and externalize them from the individual. She accomplishes this through a variety of mediums, including public speaking, authoring books and articles, and providing individual counseling.
She considers herself a daughter of her loving parents before becoming a therapist. They are a source of enjoyment and drive for her. Her childhood was mixture of both joy and some adversity. She has struggled with challenges that she tries to explain in her books and gives a method for dealing with them.
